Congratulations to Brown Belt and TTKD office assistant, Jordan Thornton, of Athens School District, for being this year’s recipient of the Tioga Tae Kwon Do Academic Scholarship Award! We’re very proud of you! 👨‍🎓 🥋

Jordan will be attending the Mansfield University in the fall majoring in Media and Journalism Production.

This year’s Tioga Tae Kwon Do Academic Scholarship Award of $1,500 recognizes a student that has demonstrated outstanding academic and martial arts performance and will be pursuing a college degree.

In recognition of Mother’s Day and to celebrate all the amazing moms in our Tioga Tae Kwon Do community, we’re inviting all moms to join us on the mats this week!

Come kick, laugh, learn, and make some memories with your students! We are so thankful for the encouragement, support, and dedication our TKD moms have for their student’s success.

Moms on the Mats Rescheduled – Classes Tomorrow Optional Due to Broad Street Being Closed

Moms on the Mats Moving to Next Tuesday

Due to the Waverly Race Night Fan Fair closing most of Broad Street, our annual Moms on the Mats class has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 12th.

Please note that parking on Broad Street near the studio will be unavailable. All TTKD families will need to use side streets connected to Broad Street.

Since parking will be extremely limited tomorrow, all classes are optional. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Congrats to Gavin Ross on placing 4th in the State while competing in the Real Estate event. He qualifies to compete and represent Athens FBLA in San Antonio this summer. We are proud of all 7 students who competed at the PAFBLA State Leadership Conference in Hershey over the past couple of days.

Sparring Tonight!

Tonight is sparring/sparring drills class. Be sure to bring your sparring gear.

Sparring is optional for White and Yellow belts. If you don't have sparring gear, then you'll still be able to work on sparring drills

Students Orange belt and up, must participate in sparring class to be eligible for belt testing.

Closed February 16th - Presidents Day

In observance of President’s Day, we will be closed on Monday, February 16th. There will be no classes or activities that day.

As a result, there will be no Tiny Ninjas or Cardio Kickboxing classes on this day.

Cardio Kickboxing will resume as usual on Wednesday

Tiny Ninjas will resume as usual next Monday

We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the holiday. We look forward to seeing you back in class soon!

🥊 Cardio Kickboxing – will resume on Wednesday
🥋 Black Belt – 7:15 PM

Please use your best judgment based on conditions in your area. If travel feels unsafe, your safety comes first—do not attend class tonight.
