Update! Today's Baseball and Softball games vs. Ionia are now cancelled due to weather. No varsity trip for varsity softball or baseball. No home JV game for baseball.

Varsity is still on for Girls Soccer.

Big night as the Warriors win both versus Charlotte. Waverly jumped out early in the first game, scoring 6 in the bottom of the first. Offensively the warriors were led by Sr. Neveah Larner going 2-2, 2 RBIs, and 3 BB. Sr. Marisela Guevara was 3-3, and 2 RBIs. Jr Sydney Sutton was 2-4, 3 RBIs, HR, and 4 runs scored. Fr. Isabella Herrera was 1-2 with 2 RBIs. The Warriors finished 15-5 ahead of Charlotte. Sr. Pitcher Neveah Larner earned the win with 8 strikeouts, 4 hits , and 1 earned run allowed.

Game 2 the warriors chipped away early and often. Jr. Sydney Sutton led the charge going 3-4, HR, and 3 RBIs. Sr. Sarai Lopez 1-2 with 2 RBIs. Sr. Marisela Guevara 1-3 with 2 RBIs. So. Thaliana Hernandez 2-3 with 1 RBI. A 5 run inning the Warriors earned the win 11-0. Sr. Nevaeh Larner earned the win allowing 5 hits, zero earned runs, and 7 strikeouts. Sr. Nevaeh Larner also hit a career milestone with her 500th strikeout ending the first inning of game 2.
