As Coach Scheckel wraps up his time at Mount Mercy, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for everything he has done.
Coaches success can easily be measured by conference champions, National Qualifiers, All-Americans etc. But perhaps the best measure of success is the lasting impact they leave on the lives of their athletes and coworkers. Coach Scheckel has accomplished both.
His passion, leadership and commitment have shaped successful teams but also a lot of young men and women who have became better people because of him
The culture he built, relationships formed, and standards he established help influence the program today.
On behalf of the assistant coaches, alumni, and current athletes, thank you! We wish you and your family the best in this exciting new chapter!
