​The mats were packed and the energy was high today! We had promotions for both our Tiny Tikes and our older Kids Class.
​It’s amazing to watch these kids develop focus and resilience one class at a time. Congratulations to all our students who took another step forward on their BJJ journey today great job!

More Than Just a Martial Art

​At Waverly Jiu-Jitsu, we often talk about the "journey," but nobody exemplifies that better than my buddy Lucas.

​Lucas has been a part of our team for several years now. He joined us as a young boy, and as you can see from these photos, he has grown into an incredible young man. Lucas has autism, but on the mats, he is simply a martial artist, a teammate, and a friend.
​The truth is, while I am the instructor, Lucas has taught me just as much as I’ve taught him. Seeing his confidence grow and watching him find his voice—both on the mats and in private—is the greatest reward a coach could ask for.
​We are so proud of how far he has come. He is an important part of our Jiu-Jitsu family! 🥋🙌
