And just cause I want to write the name…..our 4th Place Winner: Sumfuh King Good Ribs
We appreciate everyone that came out. It was an awesome crowd, great weather, and the music was fabulous.
A huge thank you to all our competitors, volunteers, and sponsors. Also thank you for the partnership with Dave Moore, Scott Walker, & company with the Community Foundation.
A few special shout outs:
Michelle Good - 1st year helping take over the responsibility of getting us all organized and making sure things go smoothly. She did a great job of getting us coaches where we needed to be and made sure we had plenty of volunteers.
Ki & Darci Fanning - Ki & Darci have helped with the football programs (Jr Vikes & HS) for the past 12 years. Fanning have smoked the pork butts all 6 years of the Ribfest and continued this year even after all their boys have graduated. Sad, but excited for the Fannings to just be able to come out to our games and as Ki says it - “just watch a football game finally”.
And a huge thank you to Julie Behrends. Julie has helped run this event since the start and continued this year after her last son graduated out of the program. Julie and her husband, Lonnie, have also helped with the football programs for over a decade. They are both ready for some much deserved travel time.
