A fifth-year option is available to winter sports student-athletes nationwide after the COVID-19 pandemic impacted their 2020 and 2021 seasons. Four Knights seniors on the men's basketball team are using this fifth-year option for the 2022-2023 season including Drew Olson, Keagan John, Cade Daugherty, and Braden Holmquist.
