Here is a little Christmas Gift for all my Raptor followers.

Pay attention to those 3 dots, the arrow, and the circle.

The 3 dots represent a horizontal plane within the swing where the barrel and the shoulders align.

The arrow indicates the position of the back elbow necessary for the alignment of the 3 dots.

The circle represents the location of the back leg pivot. It is the pivot action which begins the forceful pelvic turn of the back hip.

Try to digest the importance of these 3 keypoints.

Wether or not you use IBM, these 3 factors will transform the quality of your swing in-game.

Examine your own swing. See if your swing allows the 3 dots to align. See if the arrow is there before commitment. And probably the most difficult of all is the Circle.

There is alot of swing information out there today that can make your choices more complicated. Trust your eyes when you are watching great hitters. These 3 components will be in every great hitter.

Will Clark, Gary Sheffield, Ken Griffey Jr. just to name a few hitters who utilized the concept of pre-swing barrel movement. It also follows the same concept of an an object in motion tends to stay in motion. This being Newtons 1st Law of Motion.

Today's current swing instruction is absent of any motion during the pre-pitch phase of the swing. The idea of being still and quiet has contributed its part to the worst baseball hitting contact era we have ever seen.

Today's current swing instruction as a whole is the worst it has ever been in my opinion.

Let me be clear. There are some exceptional hitting instructors out their today. But we are few and far between.

I have said this for many years. Even though I am just a nobody in the hitting world, the information I teach is legit and true. Verified by a baseball lifer, Clint Hurdle right here.

I firmly believe your information is a direct reflection of what your students can do with a ball.

If you listen to his full speech, ballplayers have to be able to understand and apply the information you teach. And I feel the responsibility falls on the instructor to make sure the hitter understands it and applies it and performs it.

I am going to ask just one question, when us the last time you had a player who who had his ball leave the bat like this?

It is very real and very possible. Its been in the game for over 100 years. This is the most accomplished swing technique in the world. Yes, I said that.

We live in a world where the hitting info is at an all-time low. The game numbers prove this. Quit blaming the speed of the ball and take a good look in the mirror.

If your kid doesn't have this kind of power in his swing, find a swing that will.

Both of these men, Cecil Cooper and Darryl Strawberry, had Independent Barrel Movement within their swing.

You may have recognized this swing style your whole life but it has never been given its own platform as a bonafide swing style until now.

I call the barrel action, IBM. It is a preswing mechanism that dictates the function of the entire swing path. No other swing style known has the unique movement properties of the barrel.

It is the greatest swing technique for power and production.

Eric Byrnes, Congratulations on this once in a lifetime moment. Every Dad remembers their childs first dinger.

I am not sure how you have developed or allowed your boy find his own swing. I want you to know your boy presents all the markers of the greatest power swing.

You are a Pro but please understand what your boy is doing within his swing.

IBM, regardless of the level of play, is always consistent and true.

Independent barrel movement is a swing technique. It can be applied in any bat and ball sport.

The majority of the games best powerhitters all used this technique within their swing.

IBM always has the same barrel characteristics.

The barrel begins from a vertical position then moves into a more horizontal plane position before forward hand commitment.

I could go into complete detail but if you study my page, you will begin to learn what nobody is teaching you.

Tommy White.

I highlighted this kid his senior year from an area codes event at the old Lakepoint complex/ now PBR in Ga.

My boy had a travel tournament being played there the same time.

Their were a lot of great kids there, atleast 75-100. I didn't know Tommy's name back then but he was the one kid who displayed the IBM swing process the best. He had his long hair and even a bit chunky back then.

His bp rounds were special.

It is safe to say that his IBM process has been a huge part of his success. Their is a reason he was named "Tommy Tanks".

There is no doubt this swing process plays. History is on my side. For those that have doubts, YOU do not know your baseball history, simply put.

I understand IBM and its principles better than anyone. I have spent the last 15 years understanding this swing principle.

Mookie has an IBM swing. The problem is he doesn't see the issue. Just go back and look at his MVP level. In my opinion, he needs to lower his beginning hand position.
Everything to the eye looks late from the beginning. As I showed in the video, the primary failure of his current swing is his failure to allow the barrel to reach some sort of shoulder-shoulder-barrel alignment before swing commitment. It is non-existent. Now, go take a look at Alejandro Kirk's "ssb" position to compare.

I am a huge Mookie fan. Someone needs to share this information with him. I get it. I am no professional to you. But I am a professional in my information.

Evaluate the information. Mookie's issue is a simple fix. He can fix this in 5 minutes. He just needs to be made aware of it.

So here you go. Help your brother out.
