🥋 REMEMBERING G**O STEVE FRISTOE 🥋

Some teachers teach techniques.

Some teachers teach martial arts.

And then there are teachers who leave a mark on you that lasts long after the training ends.

This episode of the FormABLE Podcast is dedicated to remembering G**o Steve Fristoe, a martial artist, teacher, and mentor who passed away during the COVID years.

Joining me for this special conversation are Jeremy Jones and Kurt Kincaid—two fellow students who, like me, had the privilege of learning from Steve in Kali, Wing Chun, and the many other martial arts he shared with his students.

Steve was also visually impaired, but anyone who trained with him quickly learned that limitations don't have to define what is possible. His approach to martial arts, teaching, and training left an impact that continues through the students he taught.

In this conversation, we remember the teacher behind the techniques—the lessons, the stories, the training, the challenges, the laughter, and the influence Steve had on all of us.

For those of us who were fortunate enough to call him our teacher, remembering Steve isn't simply looking backward.

It's about carrying his lessons forward.
