Don't forget! Helmet pickup is TODAY for all Wausau Wild athletes planning to return for the 2026-2027 season.

🥍 Wausau Wild Helmet Pickup Information 🥍

With the upcoming training events next week, the Booster Club needs to return helmets to our athletes.

We ask that all athletes make every effort to pick up their helmet, whether they are participating in one training event, both events, or neither event.

If you are unable to make it on Wednesday, please comment on this post or contact Audrey directly at [email protected] to make alternate arrangements.

We understand that one training session is being held at Wausau East and another at Wausau West. Unfortunately, athletes attending the Wausau East training may need to arrive a little late while picking up their helmets. We appreciate everyone's flexibility and understanding.

📢 Important Helmet Ownership Update

Last week, the Board voted to return helmets to all athletes who intend to return for the 2026-2027 lacrosse season, making the helmets the responsibility of the athlete and family.

This means:
✅ Athletes will store and maintain their helmets year-round.
✅ Helmets may be used for personal lacrosse activities.
✅ Helmets must be kept in safe, playable condition.
✅ Helmet decals must remain in acceptable condition.

If a helmet or decals become damaged, the athlete will be responsible for replacement costs before the start of the next season.

If your athlete does not plan to return next season, or if storing the helmet is not an option for your family, please connect with a coach to discuss arrangements.
