For Father's day we built my dad a replica of his favorite step-off ski. In fact it's the very same one I learned to barefoot off of almost 25 years ago. The actual Hydro-Flite belongs to his childhood friend Rick. They painted it together sometime back in the 70s. It features dad's foot and the circle is where they put the black paint cap by accident then filed it in.

Square Tail Hydro-Flite's is where it all started. Our love of a big ole plank with a deep cast aluminum fin is alive and well.

All of our ski designs and prototypes spend months and even seasons undergoing rigorous testing at Lake Pleasant. Chain Skimmers Water Ski Team might have the highest concentration of former professional show skiers anywhere. Their imput has been critical in designing reliable show skis for almost every act!
