The Varsity and JV girls golf teams both pulled out close conference victories at Bullseye Country Club.

Anika Creisher and Brooklyn Freiberg led the way for the varsity finishing 3rd and 4th respectively in individual play. Breanne Bushong was 9th, Emma Brandt tied for 10th and Adee Beversdorf tied for 12th.

Ruby Thurs finished 2nd to lead the JV while Addy Creisher finished 4th, Isla Carew 5th, Claire Schroder 6th and Ali Brandt tied for 13th.

JV will host Amherst on Thursday at Trapp River and Varsity and JV will travel to Marshfield on Friday for WVC Leg #4.

These players represented our Wausau Golf Team at the SPASH JV Scramble on Friday afternoon. It was a unique event where each player was teamed up with players from other teams and played a scramble.

Emma’s group took 1st with a 35. 🥇
Cora’s group took 3rd with a 41. 🥉

Great job Sophia, Claire, Cora, Sophia and Emma!! ⛳️

The Wausau Girls golf team posted another Top 10 finish in the Green Devil Drive Invite @ Northern Bay. The girls tied for 9th place with Holmen. A total of 22 schools and over 100 individuals participated in the event.

Our four top scores all finished in the top half of the field.

Our JV team will be in action at Wisconsin River Golf Course in Stevens Point tomorrow afternoon.

Today varsity traveled to Wisconsin Rapids for a two player scramble invite. Besides having to tee off at 7:15 am it was a pretty good day!!
Anika & Brooklyn placed 3rd with a 38.
Emma & Adee and Ruby & Addy both tied for 8th with a score of 43.

We will travel to Rhinelander on Wednesday for our second conference leg.

WVC Leg #1 at Crane Meadows

Varsity and JV both had 2nd place finishes in our first conference meet. Anika led the team with a 2nd place finish, Brooklyn was 6th and Emma 11th.

JV was led my Cami with a 2nd place finish and Addy 3rd.

Our next meet will be a Varsity competition in Wisconsin Rapids on Monday. ⛳️
