Just across the boarder from Hudson, WI you can find the Cabela’s in Woodbury MN. The fish tank is INCREDIBLE here. Super fun place to check out on your next road trip!

Hot day back with littles! Fill their stroller cup holders with cold water and give them a frog togg! This kept my little guy cool and happy for quite a while!

Riverside Park

If you have little adventure lovers, this park is for you!
It features:
-A pavilion you can rent out
-Walking/biking paved paths
-A disc golf course
-So many pieces of play equipment
-A boat launch
-Bathrooms on site
-A nice dock for fishing
-A riverbed that is often dry- and perfect for rock collecting
-Water to wade in
-Swings
-Sand volleyball net
-SO MUCH SPACE to run around
-The most awesome walking path ever
-An abandoned stage, which is still structurally sound enough for tiny performers

Minocqua, WI

Dan’s Minocqua Fudge is right in downtown Minocqua. Now, not only is this the most adorable town up north, but it has lots of great stops. Of course with kids, the candy shop is a must do.
They offer a huge variety of treats including ice cream, fudge, chocolates, sweets and taffy. You can even sometimes see them making candy right in the front window.

Merrill, WI

Merrill Museum and Historical Society

There was a lot more for kids than I was expecting at this stop! Not only do they offer a ton on local history, they also have displays that change and rotate. On currently display is a huge toy set up. There was a lot of nostalgia for me as a parent, and many cool things to play with and see for the kids! They are even running a current scavenger hunt.

This is a great indoor day option!

Jojos Jungle!

This is our favorite park in central WI. Today the water was on! They are nearing completion at the bathroom site. For more on all this park has to offer, check out reels from the beginning of summer!
