State day one in the books.
Leanah was 10th in her 100H prelims. 4x2 8th in prelims. 16th place, neither made finals. Lydia won her 400 heat 57.96. Will run in finals tomorrow. Did not qualify in the 200. Leanah 2nd in her heat of 300H. Seeded 7th in finals tomorrow. Mikki throws tomorrow.

Congratulations to Jacob Abel (1st place in the Long Jump with a new state record, 3rd place in the Triple Jump and 6th Place in the 100M) Michielah Borchardt (4th place in the disc), Josie Kooima (9th place in the 3200M), Leanah Schlatter (11th Place in the 300M Hurdles), Conrad Bethke (12th place in the Pole Vault), Leanah Schlatter, Naomi Kelly, Josie Kooima and Lydia Aalsma (13th place in the 1600M Relay), and Katrina Reinhardt for their performances at WIAA State meet on Friday and Saturday!
