It was another hot 🥵 one, but these girls showed up, had fun and represented !💪

And thank you to the parents that either spent their time with us today, donated candy or supplied water. It is greatly appreciated!

🥍We’d love to have all current and future Waunakee Girls Lacrosse players join us as we walk in the upcoming Waunafest parade!

💜Youth and high school players are all invited—let’s show our community what our program is all about.

📍 Meet: American Legion / Pleasant St.
🕙 Time: 10:15 AM
📍 Our exact spot in the parade lineup will be shared later this week.

🖤 What to wear: Black “Earned Not Given” t-shirt, an old Waunakee Girls Lacrosse jersey, or any girls lacrosse apparel with black bottoms.

✨ New to the club and don’t have gear yet? We’ve got you covered!

☀️ The forecast is sunny with temperatures in the low to mid-80s

💧 Bring a water bottle (we’ll have a place to keep it during the parade)

🧴 Apply sunscreen before you arrive

🚶‍♀️ Parade route is approximately 1.5 miles and will end at Centennial Park.

Please meet your player by 11:30 AM at the green space near the trees to the left of the parking lot entrance at Centennial Park. See second photo.

💜🖤Day 3 completed! Lots of footwork & game like drills filled our time before we scrimmaged and put hard work into play. Lots of hustle but one person stood out to win the last day for the “hustle hardhat” to close up our summer camp. That was Isla Anderson. She came today with determination and focus ready to earn it! Pictured are our 💜🥍2026 Hustle Hardhat 💜🥍 recipients! Until next time, keep a stick in your hand and get out and play! 🖤💜

🖤💜Day 2 of Summer Lax with our Waunakee high school warriors ladies! We had lots of skills drills and some 4v4 games to wrap up another day of lacrosse! 🥍 Who snagged the “hustle hardhat”today?! Kylie Karls!! She was super focused during drills, worked hard in every rotation, and really shone during scrimmage time! She celebrated with the “hustle hardhat” successor and her teammates, which is the best part of playing sports!💜🖤
