NOW HIRING FOR FALL/WINTER! 🍂🌨️

We are seeking friendly, hardworking individuals with a passion for the outdoors to fill various seasonal positions throughout the Waukesha County Park System. We have Lead Park Seasonal and Park Seasonal roles available at Fox Brook Park, Fox River Park, Naga-Waukee Park, Menomonee Park, Moor Downs Golf Course, and the County Grounds Service Center.

🌿 The outdoor patio renovation at Naga-Waukee Golf Course is moving right along, with 85% of the new beds and plantings now in place. And the local critters have already discovered their new surroundings! 🐦🦋🌱

The shade structure footings are in, with installation anticipated the week of August 24. Patio resurfacing work is scheduled to take place this week.

🚧 The patio is closed while work continues, but the golf course and clubhouse, including concessions, are OPEN throughout the renovation.

The outdoor patio renovation at Naga-Waukee Golf Course is making great progress! ⛳ There's been exciting movement over the past several days:

✅ Demolition is complete.
✅ Waterproofing and resurfacing are underway.

Even more work is expected by mid-week, and if all goes as planned, new landscaping *could be* installed by the end of the week.

We can't wait to share the finished space. Stay tuned for more updates!

Many in our community worked alongside, or had the opportunity to meet or know, Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. Please see the details below for his Visitation Celebration on August 6 💚 It's open to all who wish to honor and celebrate his life.

The outpouring of love and support for Paul has been tremendous and is truly appreciated by his family and all who knew him. Today would have been Paul’s 62nd birthday. As we celebrate his heavenly birthday today, we also invite you to join us on August 6 for Paul’s “Visitation Celebration” at the Waukesha County Expo Center to celebrate his life. Details below.

The family’s wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to WisconsinEye https://wiseye.org/donate/. The County Executive’s late mother, Former Lt. Governor Margaret Farrow, was instrumental in the creation of WisconsinEye, the state’s public affairs television network. As County Executive, Paul continued his mom’s advocacy for open government.

This patio project is tentatively scheduled to start on Monday, July 27 and anticipated to last for 3 weeks. The course will be open during construction.

Come check out our new look! 🪧⛳

You may have seen all the new entry signs at Waukesha County Parks, lake accesses, and regional trailheads, but the honor of the final installation goes to Naga-Waukee Golf Course.

If you missed the news, our previous entry signs (in place since...forever) were deteriorating and got a big refresh. We're so excited to show off our fresh, new look to our golfers!
