We are a baseball team based out of Streamwood, IL and are part of the Midwest Suburban League (MSL) Central League.

⚾️🧹🧈 DOUBLEHEADER SWEEP — BYE SECURED! 🧈🧹⚾️

What a way to close out the regular season. Two games. Two wins. 17-7. 🔥

⚾ GAME 1 — BISCUITS 7, DEVILS 0
Jake McCabe was absolutely dealing, breezing through the Devils lineup with 7 scoreless innings and setting the tone from the jump. 🔥
The offense got to work early, manufacturing runs and building a commanding lead that Jake made sure was never in doubt.

⚾ GAME 2 — BISCUITS 4, ROCKIES 3
This was the big one. 2 seed and a first-round playoff bye on the line. And the Biscuits came through with a TOTAL TEAM WIN. 💪

Caedon Peterson was phenomenal on the mound, giving us 6 strong innings, surrendering just 3 runs (1 earned) and battling all night to limit the damage.
Down late? Didn't matter.

The Biscuits stayed tough and came through with 2 clutch runs in the 9th, highlighted by a huge 2-RBI knock from Vincent Bruce to keep us alive. 🔥🔥

Tim Martin took over for Caedon and earned the W with 4 scoreless innings and 8 strikeouts, shutting the Rockies down and giving the offense a chance to finish the job.

Then in the 10th inning, Benny “Biscuit” Cole delivered the go-ahead RBI to put the Biscuits on top! 🧈🔥

One more shutdown inning in the bottom of the 10th and that was BALLGAME.

4-3 BISCUITS. 2 SEED. FIRST-ROUND BYE. SECURED. 🔒🔥

We finish the regular season 17-7 and head straight into the semifinals with some serious momentum. Most likely waiting for us: a best-of-3 battle with the Chicago Rockies for a ticket to the CHAMPIONSHIP. 🏆

The regular season is over.
NOW THE REAL FUN STARTS.

⚾🧈 GAMEDAY — FINAL REGULAR SEASON WEEKEND 🧈⚾

This Saturday, August 29th, one last regular season weekend before it's PLAYOFF TIME. 🔥

The Mighty Biscuits enter the weekend at 15-7 with a split doubleheader on deck at Redmond Memorial Field in Bensenville, IL.

⚾ Game 1 — 5:00 PM: vs. Devils 😈
⚾ Game 2 — 8:00 PM: vs. Chicago Rockies 🏔️

And Game 2 has some serious stakes.

We'll go to battle with the Rockies with the #2 seed and a first-round playoff bye on the line. 🔥

The mission is simple: take care of business, improve on our 15-7 record, lock up that bye, and roll into the playoffs HOT. 💪

Two games. One final regular season weekend. Everything to play for.

🧈⚾ SEASON SWEEP ⚾🧈

Great game and a TEAM W as the Mighty Biscuits take down the Hops 11-1 to complete the season sweep! 🧹🔥

Bill Balatsos got us rolling early with a great catch in the 1st to give us some momentum.

Then Michael "Squatch" Wieringa started barreling baseballs, going 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs to help put the game out of reach. 🔥💪

The offense was clicking all around as we manufactured runs up and down the lineup. And don't sleep on Tom Balatsos, Christian Avis, and Jordan Golz, all coming through with multi-hit games. 🔥🔥🔥

Mike Ruffolo showed some serious patience at the plate, working 4 walks and constantly giving the offense opportunities.

On the bump, Tim Martin picked up the W with 11 strikeouts, and Caedon Peterson was lights out to seal the deal. 🔥⚾

Complete team effort from start to finish. Season sweep secured. 🧹

Now we carry this momentum into next weekend and straight into the playoffs.

The Mighty Biscuits are back on the diamond Sunday morning as we take on the Hops and look to finish off the season sweep! 🧹

After a tough one-run battle last weekend, it's time to turn the page and get back in the win column.

⚾ HEARTBREAKER UNDER THE LIGHTS ⚾

The Mighty Biscuits took a 5-2 lead into the 9th inning behind outstanding pitching performances from Jake McCabe and Caedon Peterson, but we couldn't close the door and let victory slip away, falling to the Blue Jays 6-5.

The bats were active all night as the Biscuits collected 13 hits and 7 walks, but we couldn't push enough runs across when we had the opportunities. Ben Cole drove in 2 runs at the plate to help give the Biscuits the early lead.

A tough, gritty battle that came down to the very end. This one stings, but that's baseball. We'll learn from it, get better, and come back hungry.

Win together. Lose together. Get better together.

The Mighty Biscuits are back in action Saturday night for a rubber match against the Blue Jays! 🍞🧈

The season series is tied 1-1, and this one settles it.

⚾️🧹 SEASON SWEEP 🧹⚾️

The Mighty Biscuits brought out the brooms Saturday, taking both games of the doubleheader against the Smokies! 🍞🧹⚾

Game 1: Biscuits 4, Smokies 0
Game 2: Biscuits 5, Smokies 3

Game 1 belonged to Timothy Martin and Bill Balatsos, who combined to throw a NO-HITTER and shut down the Smokies, 4-0. 🚫⚾

In Game 2, Caedon kept the pitching rolling with 5 scoreless innings while allowing just 1 hit, helping the Biscuits finish off the season sweep.

Pitching continues to be our bread and butter. 🍞🧈 Keep the defense buttery smooth and the bats hot out of the oven, and this team is going to be very hard to beat when it matters most. 🔥

Playoff spot secured. Now it's all about seeding and that first-round bye.

⚾️ DOUBLEHEADER DOMINANCE ⚾️

🧈 Smooth as butter. 🔥 Scorching hot.

The Mighty Biscuits took care of business on Sunday, completing a dominant doubleheader sweep over the Hops.

Game 1: 24-0
Game 2: 14-0

Our pitching staff and defense were lights out all day, while the offense came out of the baking oven absolutely on fire. When we're playing complete baseball in all three phases, we're a tough team to beat.

With the sweep, the Mighty Biscuits improve to 12-6 on the season and continue building momentum as we head into the next matchup.

⚾️ GAME DAY TOMORROW! ⚾

Tomorrow, the Mighty Biscuits are back in action as we take on the Hops in a Sunday doubleheader!
We're looking to build on the momentum from our season sweep of the Kookaburras and keep the bats hot as we continue our push toward the playoffs. Two big games are on deck, and every inning counts from here on out.
