We have our Holloween special shoot details below, Its scary good!
Date: Oct 30th
Session times: 9:00am & 10:30am
Sign Up: Online

The course is designed for pistol, but a revolver can be used (not recommended - unless you have a lot of speed loaders).
There are 20 targets, so minimum round count is 20. Magazines will be loaded with 10 rounds max, so you will need at least 2 mags. No more than 4 mags will be allowed.
We will be using our new Throom targets.

So, to recap, Pistol event, Minimum 20 rounds per run, (3 runs $25.00), 10 rounds loaded per mag, Max of 4 mags, hearing and eye protection, Hat - recommended.

Saturday Morning Fever

Tired of just punching paper???

Join us Saturday March 30th for the first of our Skills and Drills series.
Once a month we will be conducting one of our "Saturday Morning Fever" event.
These events will put you through a different scenario.

Each scenario will allow you to use what you know and learn you what you don’t know.
We want to help you increase knowledge and skill levels that can translate to the real world.
Much like our pistol leagues, the "Saturday Morning Fever" is open to everyone and will run from 9:30am through Noon.

All that is needed is your pistol, 2 magazines, ammo and baisic firearm skills. Range Officers will walk you through should you have questions

Show up and have fun !

INTRODUCTORY PRICES:
First run is free, each subsequent $10 ea. or $25 for 3

Approximately 30 rounds per run.

It is with great dismay we note possible trouble with the GTR Range ( now Caliber) in Waukegan. By order of a creditor, ALL of their assets are being auctioned off in September.While there is no statement from them, it is hard to understand how they intend to stay in business . Checking the Lake County court clerk records we note they have about 30 lawsuits or legal issues, many involving debt collection. They still owe the company that made the lane controllers/operators, and others. For auction details check orbitbid.com or the lake county clerk for ongoing court dates. We hope they survive these issues, and will monitor for any updates.

We have finally drawn the shotgun! The first winner was an Action Shooting sports board member who recused himself in order to avoid any sign of collusion. The winner has been drawn and notified, his name will not be published for security. Currently the gun is at our ffl, Wes Tyler of Vintage arms who informs us he needs about 60 days to implement the transfer.
We would like to thank all of you who shot with us last year, and while we were not able to host a 3 gun season last summer we hope to have good news for next year.

We are proud to help host our third NRA Youth Education and Hunting Camp at Richmond hunting Club in Richmond IL. on Friday 13 June. We have been averaging over 150 young participants each year. thanks to the great guys at Richmond and the NRA for supporting this event.

THREE GUN THIS YEAR. Want to thank all of you for your patience. There is a new operator at the Hollow, now named The Site. He is still getting organized after a long and brutal winter. We will not have a 3 Gun season there this yearas the operators intend to make repairs and improvements b4 opening. We intend to raffle off the Shotgun at opening day for GTR, which still is a couple of months away. We will sponsor some indoor leagues and competitions when GTR opens, so watch this space for future developments. The loss of our summer season allows us to focus on the indoor season, and we have some fun and exciting things planned.
