I’ve clearly gotten behind on our team updates as it still says 15u!?! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 I’m super happy I was finally able to make it to some games this weekend! The girls racked up 5 wins out of their 7 games and only lost to 1 team… twice. So many incredible hits, great pitching, and some impressive fielding! And we should probably mention that rocket homer by Olivia! 🚀 We fell short in the championship game, but what a fun weekend we had watching you girls play!

These girls wrapped up their season with a looong weekend of softball in Des Moines. They fought hard and long in extreme heat to make their mark at Nationals. We fell short in bracket play but put it all out there. We had some great wins and some really frustrating losses, but when all is said and done, these girls played their hearts out and it showed! It was a bittersweet ending to the season as Kate is hanging up her cleats to focus on lacrosse. The tears shed after (and during!) that last game really shows how much we’re all going to miss Kate and Coach Eric. 6 years of Blast ball has come to an end for them, but we will always consider The Rossi’s Blast family. ❤️ Thanks for all those years of coaching and making the girls laugh, Eric! And Kate, keep an eye out for a bunch of softball girls cheering you on at a lacrosse game soon! Thanks everyone for a great season, enjoy the break, and we’ll see everyone soon!

We had another awesome tournament weekend! We didn’t make it to the championship this weekend but WOW did we play some great softball!! We’ll proudly take semi-finals when playing such competitive teams! Thanks to all the dads who set those early alarms each weekend for those early arrival times (especially when they’re an hour and a half away!!!)! And a HUGE thank you to coach Jim, Augie, Tommy, and Eric. We are so lucky to have such great dads leading our 15u BLAST girls! Happy Father’s Day! Our 15u BLAST girls wrapped up another fantastic weekend of softball at the NSA Last Chance 16u Tournament in Kankakee! 7 hard-fought games led them to a tough loss in the championship against The Southside Smoke. They may have been a little disappointed to take that second place for the second weekend in a row, but as always, they handled it with big smiles and lots of laughs! Way to go, BLAST!!! 🚀🥎❤️🖤

Amazing first weekend back together for our 15u BLAST! They racked up the wins to make it to the championship game in Waukegan. They battled to the very last minute to take 2nd place with an 11-10 loss. A nail biter and heartbreaker but we couldn’t have been more proud, impressed, and excited for our girls!! GO BLAST!! 🥎❤️🚀❤️🥎

What a great day of softball for our 15u BLAST girls!!! Every one of our girls contributed to some great wins!! You guys were the absolute best cheering on our 11u BLAST girls in your little bit of time off! They were definitely feeling the love! We’re all so proud of you! ❤️🥎🚀 Mokena Blast

We couldn’t be more proud of our 15U BLAST girls! They played their hearts out today and it paid off! They won their first three games and fell short by 1 in the last play of game 4 with a 7-6 loss to an 18U team! Every girl had highlight moments but we’ve got to mention Sophie’s triple for the win in game one, a home run by Kate in game 2, more triples than we can even remember, and great pitching by Sydney and Claire. Great effort by the entire team made for a great day! Way to go BLAST 15U!! 🥎❤️🚀🖤🥎
