The Last Inning…

I’ve been putting this post off for nearly a week. It’s still hard for me to process that our little team has played their last game together. It was a privilege to have been along for the ride these past 2 seasons. Here are a few of the girls’ accomplishments during that time…

Record: 114-33-4

23 Tournaments
- 13 Championships
- 2 Finalists
- 4th Place @ 10U Nationals
- T-7th Place @ 11A Nationals

These girls have been amazing, and I know they’re just getting started. Whether they’re playing softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball or golf…I’ll ALWAYS be one of their biggest fans.

Last weekend, the girls finished up their season with a T-7th finish at the 11A Midwest National Championship in Des Moines, IA. There were so many great teams there (21 from 9 different states). I couldn’t be more proud of how well the girls played, showing that they belonged in a tournament with some of the best teams in their age group.

After the rain has washed out two practices and a doubleheader, I was finally able to recognize Ruby tonight!

On 5/14, she threw a no-hitter against the Rt 3 Riots!

Then on 5/16, she backed it up with another no-hitter vs Team Mascoutah!
