We’re excited to introduce our 10U Wreckers – Nollin as they get ready to take on the 2026–2027 season! This team is bringing together a mix of seasoned veterans and fresh new talent, and they’re ready to work hard, compete, and make a name for themselves! 💪⚾️

Wauconda Baseball and Softball Statement Regarding Recent Allegations Involving Eddie Acosta-Gonzalez

Wauconda Baseball and Softball (WBS) is aware of the serious charges recently filed against Eddie Acosta-Gonzalez involving allegations of sexual abuse of a minor.

We want to make it unequivocally clear that Eddie Acosta-Gonzalez is not, and has never been, affiliated with Wauconda Baseball and Softball or any of its programs, in any capacity. Including as a coach, a board member, or a volunteer.

The safety, well-being, and protection of our youth athletes is the highest priority of WBS. We maintain strict safety standards and a zero-tolerance policy regarding abuse, misconduct, or behavior that places children at risk.

We encourage anyone with information regarding Eddie Acosta-Gonzalez or potential misconduct involving him to contact the Vernon Hills Police Department at 847-918-5605
