SATURDAY MARCH 14th at 9 am
Oklahoma Concealed Carry Permit Training Program. Oklahoma is designated as a 'Constitutional Carry State' by state definition, allowing residents who meet specific requirements to carry fi****ms without a permit while within state boundaries. Nonetheless, for interstate travel with concealed fi****ms, obtaining a permit is necessary.
Join our Oklahoma Concealed Carry Permit Course scheduled for Saturday, March 14th at 9 a.m. at McConnell Farms Range, located at 467790 E 648 Rd (Chewey Road). This mandatory training program, as per the Oklahoma Self Defense Act (SDA), encompasses comprehensive instruction on Oklahoma laws, deadly force situations, safety protocols, fundamental shooting skills, handgun operation, and a live-fire exercise. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a signed certificate and guidance on submitting their permit application. To meet the requirements, applicants must complete a fi****ms safety and training course from a certified SDA instructor, provide the original certificate of training with the application, possess a current Oklahoma driver's license or official Oklahoma ID, and submit two color passport-style photos.
The application process involves completing the form online or by mail and submitting it to the Self-Defense Act Unit (SDA) of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), after which applicants will receive notification by mail regarding their application status. For renewal, applicants have 30 days from the expiration of their license. Potential disqualifying factors for applicants include felony arrests, adjudication as a delinquent, or involvement in domestic abuse. For those interested in understanding the laws pertaining to carrying weapons without intending to obtain a permit, attending the morning portion of the class is sufficient.
