Yesterday morning was cold and wet. Went to drive into town to get gas at lunch and the car died on the way. Tow it back to the track and diagnosed as an electrical problem. Alternator died and killed the battery in the process.

After a lot of phone calls trying to source new parts we found an O’Riley Auto Parts in Syracuse that had one in stock.

Four hour round trip, some curse words and 6 frozen hands later the car is back up and running for day 2!

This is going to be a interesting couple days. Tomorrow Paul A. Mirkhani and Michael Mordoff will be heading up to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for some hot laps with Rusty Wallace Racing Experience! Cam Mirkhani, Trevor Berry and Jason Colville will join in the fun too! Then on Monday, heading to Lime Rock Park: The Road Racing Center of the East for a track day with Sports Car Driving Association!

We had an awesome day racing up and down the side of a mountain! Palmer Raceway is a very tricky track with many turns. Even the track employees aren't sure how many turns it has.
