If you missed yesterday's Closing Day Ceremony, you missed a great day!

The weather was beautiful, the parade was awesome, Dylan Houseknecht delivered an outstanding speech, the bounce house helped keep everyone cool, the dunk tank stayed busy all day, the softball teams had a great time competing against one another, and the baseball game went into extra innings! It truly was a phenomenal day.

The support at the concession stand was incredible as well—we only had four bottles of water left out of three full cases! 🫠 The food from Pick's Pub was fantastic, and we hope everyone who attended had as much fun as we did.

As we head toward the end of our regular season and begin All-Star season, we have a couple of important reminders:

⚾ We are still in need of volunteers for this week. We have games scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and currently only one of those days is fully covered. If you can fit a shift into your schedule, please consider signing up to help.

🥎 Please also keep an eye out for additions to the volunteer schedule as Major and Minor All-Star games are added. In the coming weeks, we will also be posting volunteer sign-ups for our annual Malina Tournament on July 11-12.

Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and willingness to help. Our organization would not be successful without our volunteers, families, sponsors, and community members. We appreciate everything you do to help make this season such a success!

Hello Everyone,

It is official. We are going to do a Closing Day Ceremony on Saturday June 13, at noon. Parents and players should meet their coaches and team at the Lakeside of Clute Park at 11:30. Parents can park at either the lakeside parking lot or the community center and boat launch parking lot. Parking fees will be waived for our players/parents that day. Parents are encouraged to line the driveway to the campground of Clute Park and cheer on and support your athletes as they parade. Players should show up in their team shirts and jerseys.

We will have guest speakers when we arrive at the baseball fields and then the fun begins. We will have a bounce house with a water slide and pool, and we will have a dunk tank. Pick's Pub will be bringing their food truck and the concession stand will be open with all of our snacks and drinks. We will cap off the day with a baseball game for sure, and possibly a softball game both starting at 3pm.

This will be an excellent way to celebrate a wonderful and busy season!

Good evening! We hope everyone had a fun and relaxing Memorial Day weekend! We are looking forward to a full week of games, with some beautiful weather! We’ve set some records this week!!!! 🎉

⚾️ On Sunday, we cooked 625 chickens for our Chicken BBQ Fundraiser — a Moose Club record! The amount of help we had was incredible and may have been a record too! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make the day such a huge success. A special thank you goes out to Lynda Kramer for spearheading this fundraiser and to our head chef, Zac Bassett, for putting in some incredibly long hours starting at 5:00am!

🥎 We also had a fantastic week in the concession stand! On Friday, we set a single-day sales record for a non-tournament day! Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked hard to make that possible.

We are off to a great start to the season, and hopefully the weather will start cooperating with us soon! We truly appreciate all of the support you continue to show our league — especially through the concession stand and fundraisers like the Chicken BBQ.

Well, we are officially off and running for the season — but unfortunately, Mother Nature hasn’t quite held up her end of the bargain. We’ve already had several games that needed to be rescheduled due to weather, but don’t worry… we’re going to get them all in!

⚾️ Our T-Ball program has already gotten a few games in and continues to practice hard.

⚾️ The Rookies teams are battling through the raindrops and have managed to play a couple games already.

⚾️ Our Minors teams have competed hard and played very well against other leagues.

⚾️ The Majors teams have been hit especially hard by the weather but are eager to finally get rolling.

🥎 Our softball teams may have had the best luck of anyone getting games in and have competed extremely hard exclusively against other leagues!

None of these programs would be possible without our incredible sponsors. Our new sponsor banners are in, hung up, and proudly displayed around our fields. We cannot thank all of you enough for your generosity and support of our athletes and community.

A huge THANK YOU as well to everyone who sold chicken dinner tickets! We sold so many dinners that we’re going to need plenty of help preparing and cooking for all of our awesome friends, families, and neighbors who purchased tickets to support the league.

Please consider signing up for one of the available jobs on the volunteer signup sheet. Also, if anyone would be willing to donate firewood to help cook the chicken, it would be greatly appreciated. Firewood can be dropped off at the Montour Moose anytime before Sunday morning at 6:00 AM, when the fire will need to be started.
