Exactly 1 year ago today, in just our 2nd ever event, we secured our first podium...with our ragtag 3 (&1/2) man team. Although we're bummed we can't be there again this year as we rebuild a "new" car, we can't wait to get back out there and taste some redemption 🏆🏆🏆

Whelp thats racing (long post warning) 🏁🏁

Hurts to post this but we subscribe to full transparency here and I would be remiss if I ignored the fact that we wrote off our car this past weekend with at . It hurts because we crashed from the lead and he a really strong chance of taking the top step with our 2 fastest drivers closing out the race. Thankfully the driver walked away unharmed without even a bruise which is the most important part.

90% of the car is salvageable but unfortunately the impact bent the frame rails significantly. We have already sourced a new chassis and will be even stronger when we get back on track. Unfortunately this means we are out for next month but is a real possibility in July.

There's a lot of work in front of us but we love a challenge and view this as an opportunity not a setback. Keep and eye out for us you will see us again soon!! 🏁🏁🏁

Sometimes the old ways are the best ways 🧐🧐

Last fall the dyno revealed that the engine was down on power by about 40hp. The quick fix was a backup junkyard engine which promptly exploded. After multiple leakdown tests which revealed conflicting results (two tests revealed issues and one test everything was fine) we resorted to the time tested gravity water test. The water drops don't lie. 2 weeks to the Glen with and there will be a freshly rebuilt heart 🏁🏁

Haven't wanted to share this post 💔💔 but it is time...last week the final race of the 2022 season took place with and it was a heart breaker. We started the 14hr of in P3 but after only a few corners, I was able to move into P1 during my opening stint. That is where we remained and by the time hour 10 came around we had a 6 lap lead on the team in second. But that's where it all changed. It started with a broken shifter support rod and we only had 4th gear. Even with that problem we were still running the same lap times as those behind and we were thinking if we could just survive our lead would hold. Cue the gut punch. The engine decided that 10 hours was enough and let go in catastrophic fashion, windowing the block in the process ending our race.

Super proud of what this team was able to accomplish this year though! Big thanks to the guys for always pushing forward and never giving up. 2023, we have big plans and this ragtag bunch of guys are going to be next level. Can't wait!🏁🏁

Damage assessment 😳😳

After breaking off all 5 wheel studs headed into turn 1 with (see video in profile), safe to say we escaped pretty unscathed. This bracket for the skid plate was the worse of the damage. Nothing a hammer can't fix 🔨🔨
