Badlands Edge Families New and Old
As we turn the gym over to new leadership after 10 years of volunteering for this great program in our community, we are extremely proud of the accomplishments and improvements we have been a part of! Some highlights include:
*Moving from the old fairgrounds building (1990–2016) to the beautiful Rough Rider Center.
*Figuring out how to go from 100 students to 300 students in class per week!
*Establishing financial stability while going from a few volunteer coaches to a fully paid staff and a significant amount of overhead costs.
*Implementing and running one single fundraiser each year that was enough to support new equipment purchases for our students.
*Going from paper and pencil registration and bookkeeping to a fully electronic system.
*Creating and implementing the Ninja Program, which gave boys and girls a new way to enjoy our gym!
*Hiring great Program Directors that have implemented quality structure into our classes for every gymnast and ninja to have fun and succeed!
*Organizing many events and shows that every student had the opportunity to be a part of.
*Hosting a rewarding meet that brought gymnasts to Watford City from 5 states.
It truly is the best sport on earth, and we are so grateful to have been a part of the smiles and accomplishments of every single kid! Thank you for allowing us to lead this incredible program for all these years with the help and support from the amazing Karlee Bailey, Heather Wisness, and Brandee Proffit!
