An awesome evening at the Hall of Fame ceremony last night! Congratulations class of 2026

Congrats to Michelle Feldman, Marliss Tapp, Bob Larson, Jo Dimond, Mark Martin and Rod Ross who were inducted into the USBC Hall of Fame on Wednesday night.

Feldman was inducted in the Superior Performance category; Tapp and Larson in Outstanding USBC Performance; and Dimond, Martin and Ross in Meritorious Service.

The induction dinner took place as part of the 2026 USBC Annual Convention in Reno, Nevada.

We had 72 entries and are paying 1 out of 8 entries which equates to paying 9 spots.
1st place is $1500
2nd place is $750
3rd place is $600 (3rd & 4th place was a tie)
3rd place is $600
5th place is $450
6th place is $375
7th place is $300
8th place is $210
9th place is $183

Handicap Singles had 54 entries and with re-entries we collected $600, paying 1 out of 8 equates to paying 7 spots.

Scratch Singles had 22 entries with re-entries we collected $290 and paid 1 out of 8 equates to paying 3 spots.

🚨ATTENTION CLASS OF 2026🚨

The deadline for 2026 Albany USBC Scholarship Award applications is April 11th, 2026 less than 1 month away!!!

Any graduating high school student who has been accepted into a school of higher education (college, university, vocational, technical, etc) is eligible to receive a scholarship, providing the student meets the following requirements:
A. Is a current member, in good standing, of the Albany USBC Junior Bowling Association; and
B. Files an application furnished by the Scholarship Committee giving complete information as required thereon, postmarked by the established deadline. Your application is to be filed with the Chairman of the Scholarship Committee.

A minimum of two scholarships for at least one male and one female will be granted each year, at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. Last year the Albany Bowling Association gave out 6 scholarships. Last year, less than half of all eligible seniors submitted their applications to the committee.

The committee awards scholarships for ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND FINANCIAL NEED. Even if you feel your grades might not be deserving of a scholarship, your community service or financial needs may get you a scholarship.

The Albany USBC Trio Tournament will be held on March 21st, 22nd & 25th at Town 'N Country Lanes. Entry forms will be available at Town ‘N Country, East Greenbush Bowling Center and Del Lanes.

The BVL Tournament will be held at Del Lanes on November 9th this year with two squads, 10:00am and 12:00pm. See flyer for additional details. Flyers will be available in Albany USBC centers in the coming days!!!
