A huge thank you to everyone who made our 2026 Holyoke Papermen Free Agent Camp a success this weekend!

First, we’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Rocky Brook Landscaping for sponsoring this year’s tryouts. Your support helps make weekends like this possible.

A big thank you as well to Williston Northampton School / Lossone Rink for hosting us and providing a great facility for our players to compete.

Most importantly, thank you to every player who took the ice this weekend. We appreciate the time, effort, and passion each of you brought to the rink. The level of compete was outstanding, and we’re grateful for everyone who came out for the opportunity to earn a spot with the Papermen.

The work is just getting started, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. Stay tuned—there’s plenty more to come.

COLONIAL HOCKEY LEAGUE ACTIVE LEADERS SERIES

We conclude the series today with one of hockey’s most hard-fought records: Active All-Time Penalty Minutes Leaders.

Playing with an edge has always been a part of hockey. Whether protecting teammates, battling in the corners, or setting the tone physically, these players have never been afraid to make their presence felt. Their competitive spirit and physical style of play have earned them a place among the league’s most penalized players.

ACTIVE ALL-TIME PENALTY MINUTES LEADERS

1. Russ Childers (Boston Gold Kings) — 117 Penalty Minutes
2. Brett Pitoniak (Holyoke Papermen) — 70 Penalty Minutes
3. David Piela (Norfolk Mallards) — 68 Penalty Minutes
4. Robert Clerc (Hudson Valley Reapers) — 66 Penalty Minutes
