🔥 ROUND 2 of our Grill & Chill is coming up! 🔥

Our first cookout was a sellout, so we’re firing up the grill again! Join us at the Watertown Senior & Community Center this Friday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

🍔 Hamburgers
🍪 Bake sale
🎟️ 50/50 raffle

Stop in for lunch, grab a treat, and enjoy some good food and good company while supporting Senior Center programs and activities!

And we could use your help with the bake sale! If you’re able to donate cookies, bars, or other baked treats, please bring them to the Senior & Community Center by 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17.

Every purchase and donation helps support programs, events, equipment and other needs at the Center. ❤️

Registration is still open for our Adult Volleyball Leagues!! We offer a Coed, Women's, and Men's Divisions.

Team Fee: $250/Team for 16 games in the season.

Registration closes on September 21st!! The first week of games will be October 5th. Register soon to guarantee your team a spot!

🌳 ROOTED IN WATERTOWN TREE PLANTING PROGRAM 🌳

Help grow a greener, healthier Watertown! 🌱

The Watertown Park, Recreation & Forestry Department, with support from a donation from the estate of Randy Roeseler, is offering the Rooted in Watertown Tree Planting Program!

This cost-sharing program gives City property owners the opportunity to choose from a variety of tree species. Trees will be planted by the Forestry Department along the street right-of-way.

🌿 Why participate?
Together, we can build a diverse and sustainable urban forest while increasing Watertown’s tree canopy for years to come!

💲 Cost: $100 per tree
🌳 Limit: 2 trees per property
📅 Registration Deadline: October 1, 2026

Our Brunch Bunch group had a WONDERFUL time getting together last Friday at Applebee’s/IHOP! 🥞☕️

Brunch Bunch meets the first Friday of every month at a different local restaurant. It started as a way to give people a different way to connect with the Senior Center—outside of the traditional Senior Center setting. What began as a simple idea has become a popular way for members to meet new people, enjoy a meal, and build friendships.

One member put it perfectly:
“It’s not about your AGE, but about WHO you click with here. I have made friends who are in their 50’s all the way through their 90’s because I happened to sit next to them at brunch.”

And another shared:
“I NEVER would have come to the Senior Center. My friend invited me to this brunch and I met so many fun people, and now I have played bingo and come for events.”

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteer who helps coordinate the monthly reservations and keeps the conversation going each month!

Brunch Bunch is just one of the many ways the Senior & Community Center helps people make connections, try something new and find their place in the community.

🎭 Not Your Typical Theatre Experience! 🎄✨
