Looking to train for competition, learn self defense, become a better athlete, or just lose weight and stay in shape, we are here to help you reach your goals! American Top Team Watertown, formerly Jiu Jitsu Nation, was founded in September 2009 by Marc Stevens under the tutelage of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and MMA fighter Jordan Damon. In 2015 co-owner Marc Stevens moved to Coconut Creek Florida to elevate his training at the world-renowned American Top Team. While training and instructing at American Top Team, it was decided that Jiu-Jitsu Nation would take its current curriculum and become the elite Mixed Martial Arts and fitness academy in the North country, American Top Team Watertown! In 2019, we took our striking program to the next level by becoming a BANG Muay Thai affiliate under Sensai Duane "Bang" Ludwig. Whether it’s world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, BANG Muay Thai, Cardio Kickboxing, or Golden Gloves Boxing, American Top Team has the instruction at all levels your looking for!

NORTH EAST LINEAGE SEMINAR HEADLINERS:
Sensei Duane Ludwig: The creator of the BANG Muay Thai system, Sensei Duane Ludwig! Inspired by Sensei Bas Rutten to organize martial arts into a comprehensive system, Sensei Ludwig has committed over a decade of his life building and constantly refining the BMT system. Now the two time UFC Coach of the Year returns to Watertown, NY.

Sensei Andy Lazarit: Head Coach from LEGACY Los Angeles in California. Sensei Andy is a life long martial artist, receiving his black belt from Sensei Ludwig in 2021. He blends his traditional Muay Thai experience with the Bang Muay Thai system, delivering a truly unique perspective at how artistic BMT can truly be! Never shy about infusing his sense of humor into his teaching, Sensei Andy has had a powerful impact on his local community, the BMT Family, and the martial arts world!

Sensei Chris Lee: Chris is the head instructor at Chris Lee in Indiana. Receiving his Duane Ludwig black belt in 2024, and just recently obtaining his black belt in BJJ. If you’ve ever had the privilege of sharing the mats with Sensei Chris, you know he’s bringing high level skills and drills with the ENERGY to match.

Featuring NICK HEMMERS: Multiple time Dutch National Kickboxing Champion and the current Low Kick World Champion! He’s the head trainer at Hemmers Gym Netherlands, where he’s actively coaching elite athletes competing in the UFC, ONE, GLORY, KSW, and K-1. We couldn’t be more excited to share our mats with such a legend, and all of you.

He’s the head trainer at Hemmers Gym Netherlands, where he’s actively coaching elite athletes competing in the UFC, ONE, GLORY, KSW, and K-1.
