There has been some confusion recently, whether it has been accidental or purposeful….
Downtown bikeworks IS NOT CLOSING! In fact, I am more busy than ever. Ebikes are flying out the door and service work is steady.
If you are a, or know any, cyclist(s) alert them to Watertown’s ONLY bike shop. Tell them to follow the Downtown Bikeworks 2 page.
Beginning next week, I will post a weekly special. It could be a steal on a new bike, could be a deeply discounted auto rack, or it could be anything between. I will run those specials for one week at a time, while supplies last, and at least until the weather turns.

I have more than 20 ‘pedal’ bikes in stock and some gravel bikes on the way.
I have more than 20 e-bikes in stock with a new brand arriving early next week. AIMA looks to be a very excited brand and am looking forward to them hitting the ground!

Don’t forget the Easyfold XT rack. It’s pretty darn neat as well.

We’ve added Mokwheel to our E-bike offerings. First pallet just arrived!
This brand offers some unique bikes:
7speed E-trike (Granite)
Foldable with hydro brakes (Slate)
Fat tire (Basalt***)
*** available inverter and solar charger!
Small frame/Big Power (Scoria)
Commuter with Adj Stem (Asphalt)

Come check them out. I’ll be building them over the next couple days. The trike is already sold, but if you are in the market (or know someone who is) come check it out before it’s picked up!

2 pallets of e-bikes arrived today, including the brand new Aventon Ramblas! This bike is super awesome and fits perfectly into a slot I’ve been missing: hardtail E-Mountain.
And it’s a mid drive unit!!
Very excited about this bike.

It’s official! Downtown bikeworks is an authorized dealer (not just ‘reseller’) of Thule products! This means that we have access to Thule’s full arsenal of awesomeness!

Did you know that in addition to bike racks and storage solutions for automobiles, Thule makes some of the nicest, coolest backpacks and LUGGAGE!?!

We have a few samples in store now, but look for more luggage and bag stick in the near future. Not many places left locally to get quality luggage!
