The Taft Volleyball program has grown leaps and bounds under the direction of Head Coach Ginger O’Shea, who came to Taft in 2001. Prior to 2001 the team had never qualified for a spot in the New England Championship Tournament. ces. Taft is now regarded as one of the top volleyball teams in New England. The volleyball team is also know for its dedication to promote awareness for breast cancer research. The team has raised more than $8,500, and because of the team's efforts they have received many Philantropic Achievement Awards

Yesterday was another great day for Taft Volleyball. It was wonderful to reconnect with past players. At one point in the alumni game, Ebony Easley said, " it is better to be in by a foot than out by an inch"! My current players cracked up as they know I still say many of the same expressions!
