My goal at Dandelion Meadows, LLC is to make experiences with horses more accessible and affordable for everyone. I currently offer western beginner level lessons, both riding and unmounted, as well as tailored sessions to fit the needs/wants of the individual. I try to keep additional costs down as well with helmets and boots in many sizes available for use during your lesson. I look forward to sharing the magic of horses with you!

This was a hard decision to make but my horses need to come first. I will be putting lessons on hold until further notice. My new lesson horse, Arrow, came to us in rough shape, he was suffering from GI issues and was severely under weight. I've been working on rehabbing him for over a year. He was putting on weight, getting stronger and on track to be ready to work this summer. Some of you were able to see his progress over last summer. Unfortunately he got sick again over winter and with him still working up to full health, it took its toll on him. With this set back, he just won't be ready for regular riding in time.
He is an amazing horse and I am excited to have him as my teaching partner. His body just needs more time to be able to handle the job. I was so looking forward to seeing my students, old and new, this summer. And I am so sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this news brings! I will keep everyone updated on his progress as he gets closer to full health.

I feel like it's 2020 and I'm watching the pregnant giraffe cam again😆 Our resident rescue, Hope, is due any day now so I spend most of my free moments checking the 'foal cam'. I'll have to share some pictures so you can appreciate how big this poor girl is. She's loving the extra belly scratches.
🗳️ Let's have some fun with it. Go ahead and comment here with your guess on the day, time and gender of the new arrival. Whoever has the closest guess will win a free 30 min lesson! 🐎

Our new guy, Wisp(aka Little Dude), has to go for a ride to the UW vet clinic. He has a respiratory infection that we haven't been able to get rid of with the standard antibiotics. The problem is I have one night to prepare him for climbing up into the back of a covered truck. He didn't even hesitate to climb to get to the grain. Ah, food, the great motivator😆 Wish us luck for tomorrow, hopefully it will be something they can take care of so this sweet boy can finally be freed from quarantine!
