The article recently posted titled BREAKING: Appellate Court Affirms DeVore’s Equal Protection Argument… is incorrect. The author has the wrong information and the judge’s TRO applies only to the 866 plaintiff’s. I apologize for taking a routine newsfeed article at face value. After 20 years as a journalist I should know better than to trust any newsfeed. My bad and sorry for the inconvenience and unfortunately, false hope. Having said that, the judge’s ruling is based on his belief that the litigation will go in favor of the plaintiffs. That bodes well for the ISRA lawsuit files in federal court. We should be seeing a decision on issuing an injunction in that lawsuit soon.

SAFER USA is offering concealed carry classes at a private, indoor facility over the winter. Avoid the cold plus free soft drinks and snacks. The course qualifies you for Illinois, Florida and Arizona concealed carry permits.

The 16-hour course is offered 2/27-28; 3/20-21; 4/24-25; and 5/2-3. The renewal course is scheduled for 3/13; 4/10; and 5/8.

So after three days of agony trying to build this place to store dimension lumber that’s out of the way I finally ordered and got to block and tackle units and pull that son of a gun up to the rafters and then secured it. This is one more step toward renovating the garage into an entire workshop. This began with a simple premise that I have to make target stands for students to use. In the process of renovating the garage to serve as a workshop I had to put in a new lighting system. Oh I may have gone overboard because now when you turn the lights on you can never have children again. I’ve had all sorts of work benches, cabinets and stuff out in. Not done yet but this afternoon I thought about it. I figure that each of those target stands that I build for students is going to come in somewhere around $3000 apiece. I think I have too much time on my hands to think about things to do.

We have received word that the Illinois State Police (ISP) is no longer accepting ICCL renewal certificates. Please do not try to submit them. When the Governor’s Executive Order is lifted that puts into effect a 12 month period during which you will be able to upload your renewal certificate. If you're permit expires you're covered, it is still good until the end of the 12 month period that begins with the expiration of the Governor's Executive Order.

I echo Patty Deiters: 4 years ago Melissa was attacked at her own home. When I advocate for personal protection, this is what I am talking about. She was attacked randomly, in the day time, in her home in the western suburbs. Melissa is a fighter and has spent the last four years talking to groups, organizations, the NRA, and even Congress on why your right to defend yourself is so important. Melissa A. Schuster will keep fighting because she is a badass, and the &*$% #@ that did this messed with the wrong lady.
