Last night was championship night at LOLR and it did not disappoint! We started the night off with carburetor issues in hot laps so Davie, Marcus, CJ and Jim jumped in, figured it out and got it fixed. We went out for the heat race where we started 4th and drove forward for the win. Feature time came and we once again started 4th. The green flag flew, and CJ put it to the top where Junie hides the cupcakes and drove to the lead where he had to navigate a couple restarts while holding off the hard charging 57j. Thankfully CJ was able to hold on strong and collect win #2 for us in 2026 and our 3rd consecutive championship night win at Land of Legends!

Would anybody be interested in jumping on board as a marketing partner or just simply want to make a donation to the CJ1 team to help us get some tires for a the last few races at Land of legends raceway?

We are aiming to get our 2nd championship in a row this year and we are currently 2nd in points with only 2 points out of the lead. We are fresh off a win but we need to keep the momentum going. The CJ1 team went back to outlaw for the Empire street stock series race on Thursday. CJ drew like crap through the gate which put us behind the 8 ball. We started last in our heat and missed the redraw by one spot. In the feature we rolled off in the 9th position and played a little back and forth, and crossed the line in a hard fought 4th place. On Saturday we made our way back to Land of Legends where only 6 cars signed in to our class, but they were 6 of the best cars in the state. Due to low car count we ended up running only a feature with 5 extra laps added to it. We started 3rd and took the lead on lap 1 and never looked back. We got our first win of the season and hopefully many more to follow!

Saturday Recap:
The day started rough the brake caliper locked up in front of the car. Davie and CJ worked hard to get the car fixed and the brakes bled after doing that they went to start the car to load it and the battery had lost a cell and crapped out so after about an hour of diagnosing that and getting it fixed, we’re on our way to the track we get to the track start fifth in the heat made our way up to third with no brakes after bleeding the brakes again we went out for the feature started fifth but still had brake issues and couldn’t make our way to the front. It was a struggle bus Saturday night. Congratulations to our good friend Mr. smooth on a well-deserved victory. It was nice to see him hand out an ass whooping like that we have this coming week off the guys will be getting the car ready to go and hopefully the brakes fixed.

The CJ1 team had a great opening night at land of legends we drew 5 through the gate which put us on the pole for the heat and we went out and won that we redrew 4th for the feature and quickly turned into a 3 car battle for the lead for a few laps where we were held up pretty good the leader got out in clean air and we ended up finishing second in a caution free race and lost oil pressure on the scales now to get to work and get the new Moose’s race engines power plant in see everyone next week
