The Waterloo Optimist Club has a long history of investing in the young people of our community. Supporting kids, encouraging their growth, and helping create opportunities for them to thrive is at the heart of what they do.

And it’s at the heart of what we do, too.

The Mandy Ebeler Foundation was created to help remove some of the barriers that can keep young people from participating in athletics, to support local youth programs where resources are needed, and to invest in student-athletes through scholarships and other opportunities.

Because of the incredible support we received during the 1st Annual Mandy Ebeler Foundation Golf Tournament, we were able to award six scholarships to graduating seniors from local high schools while continuing our mission of supporting youth athletics throughout Monroe County.

That impact is only possible because of the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community.

The heat didn’t stop Chaten Kirchner from making a little Acorns history yesterday! 🔥

Chaten aced Hole #6 from 125 yards out with a 52° wedge! 🎯

Today marks the final day of our 2026 Junior League! ⛳

It’s been another fantastic summer watching young golfers learn the game, build confidence, and make memories on the course.

Thank you to all of our junior golfers, their families, and our instructors for making this year’s league another great success. We hope everyone enjoys one last day on the course, and we can’t wait to do it all again next summer!
