We went down to PineRidge Speedway last night and raced. We qualified 2nd quick time and won our heat race. That started Oakley outside of the front row. The feature was a hard fought race with Austin Storm for the second position most of the race. However we ended up 3rd as Chase Holland ran off and won. Congrats to both of them on a great race. We have some work to do and we’ll do it all again. I have to thank our great supporters for all of their help.

We want to wish a HAPPY RETIREMENT to one of our biggest supporters. Marcia Bowler is working her final day today after a long career with the Michigan State Correctional Facility. Her parole day has come. Congratulations Marcia!! The entire team is very happy for you!!

Our plan was to race at Pine Ridge Speedway this Saturday night. However due to weather concerns they have decided to switch to Friday night this week. Prior family commitments will not allow us to race on Fridays. So we will sit idle this week and hope for better weather conditions on Saturdays in the future.

We will be taking this weekend off from racing. We plan to get back at it in April 18th at Pine Ridge Speedway.

We went to Pine Ridge Speedway Friday night this week and got another win. Not without challenges this time. Clent Busby & O.G. Were in each others jet wash throughout the race. Clent was faster in 3 & 4. Oakley would send it in 1 & 2. Then contact with 2 laps to go would send Clent pitside with a flat tire and leave the #1 with a bumper dragging on the track. The ensuing restart was also wild. Oakley picked up a push with the bumper being down. That let Morgan Lambert send it and try to get him a win. However The O.G. was able to hold him back just long enough to get our second win in a row. I have some great people to thank for another good week. Eli, Boone, Skylar, Mae-Mae, Katherine, Denny & Zach Ganey for the pit side help. Kyle had to work & Rodger was helping Cheryl to recover from a procedure. Presley was off goofing off doing who knows what! I also have to thank.

We started the season in victory lane at Pineridge Speedway in Baldwyn MS Saturday night. Went 2nd quick in qualifying starting us outside on the front row in the feature. Oakley drove the ole’ swing arm car in deep and took the lead running down the back stretch. A couple of caution flags kept things close. But in the end he parked it in victory lane for win #1 of the 2026 race season. I have to thank Roger, Kyle, Eli, Skylar, Katherine, Presley & even “Mae-Mae” for all the help. We took the Domination Race Cars #1 late model to Pine Ridge Speedway Saturday night. The night started off pretty good with Oakley putting the car on top of the board during qualifying. So we rolled off the feature on pole position. However we were 2nd as the field went green. The start was never called back so we raced. During a tangle while running second Oakley got shuffled back to 3rd. A caution would come out and “Maverick” would finally decide he wasn’t going to be pushed around. He kicked in the afterburner and took back 2nd with a hell of a move and then set sights on the leader. However we didn’t have enough to run down Eric Cooley so we finished our season with what feels like our 47th 2nd place run! It was a good way to end a pretty solid race season. We’re not sure what 2026 looks like at this time. Tires have gotten crazy expensive. We are a 604 crate racing team and our options are limited on places to race. We will announce plans when we finalize them. Everyone have a great holiday season with your families. And if you cheered for the Red/White/Blue #1 out of the Dowdy Race Ranch this year… Thank you.
