SPOILER ALERT!! Oakley knocked the right side of the spoiler off AGAIN last night while racing hard. We qualified 3rd quick and ran 3rd in the heat race. We started 3rd in the feature and about halfway he made the pass for second and started to chase the leader down. However Nick Thrash was rolling and we couldn’t quite get to him. Congrats to Nick on his win. We’ll take another 2nd place finish and put another spoiler section on it. It takes a group to do this. Ours is pretty dam special.

Night 2 of the Battle at the Ridge at PineRidge Speedway started out good. We qualified 2nd quick. Oakley fired from the pole of heat 4 and controlled the entire race for the win. That started us in the 4th spot in the feature. That is where our luck took a turn. On the second lap of the race we were involved in a spin entering turn 1. We took a hard shot to the RF wheel and it bent the steering arm, causing it to hit the frame. O.G. couldn’t get the car to steer correctly. So that ended our night early. We recorded our first DNF in 2 seasons. We were all a little dejected because we had a fast hot rod in the 23 car field. Our Twisted Performance and Machine engine was on point. The RPI Racing Suspension shocks we’re getting our Domination Race Cars through the corners with ease. The body from Dominator Race Products is slick, smooth and looks great with the graphics from Extreme Concepts. Markewitz Motorsports was there giving us a few tips on fine tuning things. The DBR Starters cranked every time & Velocita-USA by Melissa Markewitz kept O.G. safe and looking great. Fragola Performance Systems & FK Rod Ends are throughout the car and work flawlessly week in & week out. And finally MAGA LIFTS in there to raise the car effortlessly in the pit area for us to work on it. Marcia Bowler, Claude Haggerty with EZsponsorships.com & his wife Rose were all with us for the weekend. Roger Cole, Skyler Gillespie & Eli Causey kept the pit area running smooth. We will fix the damage and determine were we are racing next. Thank you to everyone that was pulling for us to double up this weekend. It was a possibility. The # 1 Dowdy Welding & Fabrication car was definitely a contender.
