As a Junior rider Dorna competed in the prestigious national Medal, Maclay and USET equitation finals, as well as the low junior jumpers and junior hunters, placing consistently. As an amateur and a professional she has competed in the Amateur-owner jumpers, the open jumpers, and National Grand Prixs where she was consistently in the ribbons. Dorna has worked for three Olympians: first Peter Leone

, then Daan Nanning in Holland, and settling in Virginia working for, and then with, Joe Fargis. Dorna is currently competing a string of horses that range from those who are attending their first horse show, to horses competing in the Grand Prixs. She has developed a strong reputation for developing young horses, giving them the skills that make them competitive, athletic, and easy to ride.

Dermie has a great jump, is very experienced, brave, and careful. He has miles through 1.40m and most recently has been doing the 1m- 1.20m jr/am classes. His owner just left for school and he is looking for his next partner! Lots more video available.
