Lady Jo Sportfishing Charters LLC Welcome aboard the “Lady Jo” owned and operated by Captain Jon Haney. Lady Jo is a 36’ Harris designed to fish. Excessive drinking will not be permitted.

Captain Jon has been in the business for over 20 years and has experience fishing CT, NY and RI waters. We pride ourselves on customer service and ensuring you and your friends and family have a fun, safe and enjoyable day on the water.

We offer inshore fishing for bluefish, striped bass, scup, black sea

bass, fluke and blackfish. In 2025 we will be offering offshore trips for tuna and shark. Fishing Season Recommendations:
INSHORE
Striped Bass Mid May-October
Bluefish June-October
Black Sea Bass June -October
Scup/Porgys June-October
Blackfish October-November
Fluke June-September

OFFSHORE
Shark Mid June-September
Tuna July-September


What to bring and wear:
Dress for the weather…shorts and t-shirt (hopefully), rain gear, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks and drinks. Carry-on alcoholic beverages are limited to beer and wine only. We support the U.S. Coast Guard "Zero Tolerance" Program prohibiting carrying illegal drugs on board. All bait, tackle and gear is provided. Your catch will be filleted, bagged and iced by the mate on the ride back to the dock.
