Here’s what’s going on for the next week. Tomorrow night is night 2 of this years Hunter Ed class. Friday is s***t as usual and we are doing a private s***t shoot afterwards at 2 pm. Nothing Saturday but we’ll be shooting s***t at noon on Sunday. Tuesday brings another s***t shooting session and the third night of Hunter Ed class. There should be another post of a new plaque that resides in the Clubhouse. It will have the names of former Club Officers or Directors, who are no longer serving in that roll, but because of their contributions over the years need to be recognized. If you have a name you think should be considered for it, please send the name along for us to consider at our next meeting. Thank you and I hope to see you on the range soon.

The days are flying by. I can’t believe it’s Wednesday again already. Nothing happening tomorrow. S***t on Friday and the weather looks to be a perfect fall day. It is also the 25th anniversary of September 11th. Please remember all those that were lost. If I can coax a few of my friends into humoring me I may have a post on Friday evening. There are no rentals or anything going on this weekend. We are shooting on Sunday and again on Tuesday. Hope to see you on the ranges. Take care.

Things are fixing to get busy this month, but let’s take it one step at a time. I am meeting a new member tomorrow at the Club to show him around. Friday brings an afternoon of s***t and I am meeting with a couple who are getting married in September 2028. Saturday I am doing a private shoot for a small group, but it doesn’t affect the r***e range. Sunday I also have a small group shoot at 2, once again no effect to the r***e range and we will be shooting s***t per usual at noon. Tuesday s***t as usual next week, hope to see you on the range soon. Happy Labor Day to all.

It’s that time again. Silas and I emptied the trash at the r***e range today, I know it’s going to get busy over there before long so we wanted to spruce things up. I found some ear plugs in a little blue pouch that said Keen Health, if they’re yours let me know. We had the NRA in today for a range assessment today. The guy said we had a beautiful Club and was impressed how clean it was. We will be shooting Friday and Sunday. The High School team will be shooting Saturday so the range will be in use for a couple hours starting at 10 on Saturday. Tuesday we’ll be shooting s***t again. Come on out and test yourself against the little orange birds. I’ll be back next Wednesday. Be safe.

I’m back. Fairly typical week. We will be shooting at the usual times on the usual days. The Waterbury Legion will be at the Club Saturday for their annual picnic starting around noon. The new backstop is up at 100 yards and someone rebuilt the two close up ones as well. Thank you by the way. Please make sure you are shooting at the netting and not at targets stapled to the framing, they will hold up much better and with r***e season sneaking up on us they will be seeing lots of use. The Club is hosting a Hunter Ed course next month. If you have someone who wants to get in they need to go to the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department website to sign up. Better do it before the spots are all gone. As always, we look forward to seeing you out on the range. Take care.

It’s a pretty typical week. We will be shooting on the usual days at the usual times. Bird hunting is just around the corner so it’s time to come on out and get a little practice in beforehand. Church is taking place once again Sunday morning early. The picture below is of the new 100 yard backstop. I put one together to replace the old shot up one. As you can see it is in the basement of the Clubhouse. I have removed the other one and will get rid of it after they empty the dumpster this week. I will get the new one in place Friday before we start shooting s***t at 11. Until then I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Here we go again. Friday s***t as usual. There is a rehearsal dinner Friday evening. Nothing going on Saturday. For those of you who know Eric Young, there is a memorial service for his partner Charlotte, who passed away recently. It is Saturday at the North Branch Nature Center. Sunday morning is church. Sunday at noon is s***t as well as Tuesday at 2.

Once again I’m a day late. My apologies. Shooting tomorrow weather permitting. There is a baby shower on Saturday. Sunday the High School Team will be shooting from noon until about 2 so the range is closed during that time. The Church up the hill is holding church service Sunday morning. We will be shooting s***t as usual at noon. Tuesday s***t once again next week. I am on vacay but hope you all made it through the recent storms without incident. Take care and see you soon.
