Country Club of Vermont is a private golf and recreational club which boasts an 18 hole course, large practice facility, two har-tru tennis courts and a full service bar and restaurant. The Club aims to enhance the pleasure, challenge and camaraderie for its members and future generations who honor the tradition and customs of the games we play. It is a club for those who love the games, regardles
s of skill, and who want to be part of an outstanding golf and recreational experience. The 18 hole golf course was designed by Canadian architect and champion amateur golfer Graham Cooke. Built among the beautiful vistas of the Green Mountains, the course features a front nine deviod of trees on all but two holes reminding many of an Irish links land, while the back nine wanders through the trees and hills of Vermont. The bent grass greens, tees and fairways are framed by blue grass rough and outlined by native fescues. Playing golf, tennis or enojoying a drink on the patio in this private setting, especially as the sun fall behind Camel's Hump and casts shadows across the landscape, is breathtaking.
