Anglers fishing on Upper Red Lake during the 2026 open-water season that starts Saturday, May 9, will have a five-walleye possession limit, with only one walleye longer than 17 inches allowed. This is the same regulation that was in place for the 2025 open-water season.

Happy thanksgiving to all of you!!!

We’re finally starting to make a little ice!!! With the temps forecasted it won’t be much longer!!!

We’re still a ways out from fishing especially with the warm up coming this weekend, but this definitely gets us excited to see!!!

With ice fishing season fast approaching now is definitely the time to get in our books and reserve an ice house!

We’ve been doing some remodeling on our houses and starting last winter we started offering a couple huge 6 man sleepers. Which are over 30ft long! They are definitely very nice!!!

I added some info regarding the limits/ slot for this winter below.

We had a fantastic fall bear season and we would like to thank everyone for coming up! It’s always such a great time!

Opening up nicely!!! Pictures are from the east side of Upper Red, near the Tamarac River. Visibility isn't the best today, but it looks like open water as far as I could see. There was even a boat out there!!!
