As the ice season gets started the number one question is how much ice is there, can we drive out yet, when can we get the house out etc etc. If your an outfitter or business owner thats great feel free to report what you have but no advertising or name dropping, trying to keep this page from being controled by the outfitters or resorts. Its for the people by the people.

Our access will be closed for the rest of the evening. If you are on the lake please stay in your house as visability is at a zero. If you are on your way up you can just hunker down in the parking lot until morning. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but safety comes first and we can’t control Mother Nature!

Breaking News.

Seeing ice ranges from 15-18". With less under snow banks. There is snow on the lake but not very much. Off road travel is easily done.
The fishing has slowed down this week with the cold front.

Merry Christmas everyone. The bite continues to be best on the south shore. There are reports of areas with 8" of ice. Becareful and stay near the resorts roads

The south shore has a really good bite going in in 13' of water.

The cold front slowed the fishing down in the shallows. The fisherman that braved the elements and looked for them did good.

Sundays bite was great. Saturday was good but tapered off as the numbers hit the lake. Many are complaining about not finding slot fish but still bringing home a limit. What did you experience with the bite?
