A happy New Year's to everyone who follows my page.
I haven't posed much because it's been an absolutely crazy year. Buying/moving to a new home, another baby on the way, getting my home shop set back up, and working in a heavy equipment shop doing all their machine work and lineboring.
Here's just a few projects from this year.

The next clean up. I dont think this .22 has been apart, much less cleaned since the 70's.
I will be removing the horrible threads in the muzzle and recrowning, cerakoting all metal, adding a newer optic, and refinishing the wood.

Haven’t posted in a while but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy. Working kinks out of the lathe and doing some projects and custom tools for the shop.
Trying to clean this beast of a black powder pistol up. So far the rust has been removed but will have to end up making new springs for it.

A little before and after. The evolution of a Ma**er 2000.
Went from being the go to meat provider to stored and neglected.
Metal completely stripped and polished before being blued. Stock was stripped and soaked in oil before being hot waxed.
Sadly the next hunting season a 4 wheeler rolled over on the rifle and cracked the stock severely. We decided to go synthetic stock and cerakote for better weather protection. Even with a pencil barrel She groups sub 1moa with 150grain soft points.

Everything is finally running. Made a quick video taking a very light cut on the backplate.
Tomorrow I will true the backplate and mount the chuck.
Cast Iron is very dusty and gets into everything which is why there’s a towel down and the center in the spindle.

This is from a while ago, a friend bought a pink gun and needed it covered up. Turned out really well.
