🔥 BLACK FLAG BREAKDOWN | LEG EXTENSION 🔥
Trying to grow your quads without overcomplicating it? The Leg Extension is one of the best ways to isolate the front of your legs and absolutely light your quads up. Great for building strength, adding definition, or finishing off leg day when your legs are already questioning your life choices 😮💨
Key Setup:
• Adjust the seat so your knees line up with the machine’s pivot point
• Position the pad comfortably across your lower shin/ankle area
• Hold the handles for support or as an alternative tap the muscle you are working in between reps to help with the mind muscle connection
• Pick a weight you can actually control (your knees will thank you)
Ex*****on:
• Extend your legs up with control, there should be NO swinging or using momentum
• Squeeze your quads at the top for a second (yes, make it burn)
• Lower the weight slowly & don’t just let it crash back down
• Stay controlled and keep tension in the muscle the whole time
Avoid This:
❌ Throwing the weight around
❌ Going way too heavy and losing form
❌ Slamming the stack between reps
❌ Speed running your reps instead of controlling them
Slow it down. Stay intentional. Your quads should be doing the work, not momentum. Build the muscle, don’t just move the weight. 🔥
