Well, the 2023 IronDog is concluded. It didn’t come without our share of problems. The fact is we persevered and pushed through the elements on one of the roughest trails to date. Huge congrats to our teamates Nick and Tyler for getting another win, you guys deserve it! We are stoked to make it to the finish line with a top 10 finish.

Cody and I had an absolute blast at the in Valdez this last weekend. The track was tough and rough but we both persevered with a couple strong finishes. Very happy with a 3rd place podium finish in the pro class! Our Team CC sleds performed flawlessly and we couldn’t have been on better sleds! We’re bummed to have to make the dreaded “we scratched” post, but that’s how it goes.

Cody and I had some amazing Team CC Ski-Doo sleds, they ride like nothing I’ve ever had the pleasure of riding, absolutely amazing. We had multiple issues that held us from pushing on which ultimately forced us to scratch out of the 2022 Iron Dog, we tried to persevere but eventually had to call it, not from lack of effort to say the least. We can’t thank our sponsors enough, without the continued support, knowledge, advice and equipment, none of this would be possible! Cody and I were able to make it back to Big lake this morning and flew to Nome this morning to help and support our fellow teammates in any way possible. It’s going to be a VERY exciting second half of the race, head to the IronDog page for updates and GPS tracking.
