Rebekah, first came to PPS+F when she began learning about the benefits of strength training and realized she wanted guidance from experienced coaches. After hearing Peak Performance recommended time and time again, she scheduled an evaluation and immediately knew she had found the right place to train.
One of the things Rebekah enjoys most about training at PPS+F is the welcoming environment created by both the coaches and fellow members. She says every session feels friendly and encouraging, making it easier to stay committed and keep showing up. That consistency has paid off in a big way, leading to some impressive personal records β including a recent 205-pound deadlift and 97lb bench press that sheβs especially proud of!
Rebekah has also experienced incredible changes in her everyday life. Before starting strength training, she had grown used to feeling tired, uncomfortable, and occasionally dealing with back pain. Now, she feels stronger, more capable, and energized in ways she never expected. Everyday tasks that once felt difficult now come naturally, and she credits building muscle with helping her feel healthier and more confident both inside and outside the gym.
As life gets busier later this year, Rebekahβs focus is staying consistent and using training as a tool to help her manage stress, sleep better, and keep up with her busy schedule.

π What brought you to PPS+F?
I was just starting to learn about the benefits of strength training and knew I needed a coach if I really wanted to learn. Started looking at gyms and Peak Performance just kept getting recommended. So I reached out, did the evaluation with Ben, and knew it was the place I wanted to train.
π What do you enjoy the most about the training at PPS+F?
The coaches and groups. It's always a friendly and welcoming environment, every session.
π Proudest achievement at PPS+F?
Besides sticking with this longer than just about anything I've ever done? Well, I'm pretty proud of my recent PR's, especially my 205lb deadlift!
π What are the biggest body/health changes you have seen?
Before I started exercising regularly I had gotten used to a daily level of fatigue and discomfort, even some pain. After I built the habit, I discovered I wasn't tired any more and the back pain that showed up every now and then was nonexistent. I didn't even know I was feeling suboptimal before, I thought I was normal! But now I know how much better I feel each day with strength training. I feel strong and capable! I never unload groceries from the car and wonder if I'll be able to carry them. Without even thinking about it, I lift stuff now that before I would have hesitated to try and pick up. Building muscle is the best!
π Do you have any goals you are reaching for on the horizon?
Late summer and fall get really busy for me and it's easy to burnout. My goal is to stay consistent enough that my gym sessions just help me feel better, sleep better, and roll with my crazy schedule. Once that settles down I'll start chasing some new PR's again, especially bench.
π What advice do you have for anyone that is looking to join PPS+F?
Life is so much better with muscle! Strength training has amazing benefits and it really is for everyone. PPS+F is the place to go, whether you're experienced or a total newbie. You won't regret investing in yourself!
