Today we made a drop of freshly cut paper wrapped bouquets at Two Rivers Farm and Outdoor. Sharing the everyday farm tasks with Kerry Smith is one of my favorite parts of this adventure!

Bittersweet news to share today.
After seven years of growing dahlias and opening our farm to so many wonderful people, our home and our dahlias are officially on the market.
Seven years ago, I never could have imagined what this little flower farm would become. What started with dahlias has brought us so many friendships, familiar faces, beautiful memories, and customers who have truly become part of the heart of this farm. I am incredibly thankful for every person who has come through our gates, picked flowers, shared our farm with friends, and supported what we’ve built here.
As our family looks toward a new season, we feel that this is the right time for a change. We’re making a move that will put us a little closer to the people and things that matter most to our family, while still keeping us nearby.
The exciting part is that the established flower beds, dahlias and farm infrastructure, greenhouse, and rolling pastures are here, all waiting for the next owner with a vision for what these seven acres could become.
This isn’t quite the ending I imagined when I planted those first dahlias seven years ago, but I’m choosing to focus on how incredibly grateful I am for everything this farm has given us, and especially for all of you who have supported it along the way.
Thank you for seven beautiful years. Thank you for every visit, every bouquet, every purchase, every kind word, and every person who has cheered us on. Stay tuned, because we’ll be announcing a few special U-cut opportunities in the coming days, with dates planned around open houses and showings.

Just dropped off a fresh batch of paper-wrapped bouquets at Two Rivers Farm and Outdoor!

For years this business has supported my farm, and it really highlights for me how important it is to support local. While I was there the owner talked about a grandchild’s birthday plans, which just shows that when you shop local you don’t just make a purchase, you get to know the families behind the businesses right here in Washougal.

These blooms are grown right down the road, sustainably and without any harsh chemicals or pesticides. Just sunshine, soil, and a whole lot of care.

Stop by Two Rivers and grab a bouquet, supporting small businesses like this means you’re supporting local families, and that feels pretty wonderful.

I’m so grateful for everyone who purchases and supports my farm. It truly means the world. Thank you! 💛

The dahlias are in their prime and the fields are overflowing with colorful blooms. With a few golden days of sunshine ahead, now is the perfect time to wander the rows and cut all the joy you can carry. Rain is on the way, and frost may not be far behind it, so come soak up the magic while it lasts.

This sympathy arrangement was created for someone grieving the loss of someone dear, gifted to bring a little light into a heavy moment. I recently heard a quote that really spoke to me as a farmer: flowers aren’t meant to last, they ground us in the beauty of right now.

Bright, cheerful blooms can’t take away grief, but they can quietly say you’re not alone.

What a lovely day yesterday at willows in Vancouver! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the pop-up, it was such a joy to meet new faces and see some familiar ones too. I'm so grateful for your continued support and love for the flowers.
Back at the field, the dahlias and other fresh cut blooms are loving this weather. Every day brings something new as fresh flowers continue to open, we're open for U-Cut today from 12pm to 5pm. Come wander the rows, soak in the colors, and build your perfect bouquet straight from the field.
