Just a friendly reminder that we are now open weekends ONLY thru Labor Day. Catch us from 11:30am-5:30pm, $6 adult admission, $5 for youth (3-17)/senior (62+) admission.

We have a limited number of spots available for youth swim lessons (ages 6-17 yrs) beginning July 8 on Tues/Wed/Thurs from 10:15am-11:10am. Cost is $60 for the two week session.

🚧 Bowers Pool Update 💧

We know many of you have been eagerly waiting the opening of Bowers Pool, and we truly appreciate your excitement and support!

Over the past several months, the park has been undergoing important construction on the water tank that supplies water to the entire park. While we were hopeful to open by Memorial Day, a few unavoidable delays in the construction process mean we now anticipate opening in early-June (targeting June 7).

In the meantime, you can still kick off the season at the North Valleys Splash Park, open this Memorial Day weekend at North Valleys Regional Park! ☀️💦

Bowers Pool will likely be closed to the public today and only able to accommodate people that already have a picnic pavilion reservation inside the pool. We are extremely short lifeguards as much of our staff has moved away to college or are attending UNR orientation. You are welcome to call ahead to check capacity at 775-849-0644. We apologize, and appreciate your understanding!

Bowers Pool is closed for the rest of today Friday, August 2 for an unexpected maintenance issue. We're so sorry if you had planned to come, but we expect to be open tomorrow. It may just be wise to call ahead at 775-849-0644 to check on delays entering the pool caused by capacity or lightning.

Bowers Pool is currently at capacity (Fri 8/2) and is expected to be periodically throughout the day. You are welcome to call ahead and check conditions at 775-849-0644. Please also be prepared for possible closures due to thunderstorms today and tomorrow. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences!

We are thrilled to be open this July 4th but please be prepared for possible delays entering the pool if we are forced to limit capacity. Your safety and the well being of our hard working lifeguards are our first priority! Thank you in advance for understanding!

Washoe County aquatics facilities will not open this weekend due to unforeseen circumstances. We know summer is right around the corner and are working to get everything open as soon as possible.
