Bowers Mansion Pool Washoe County Bowers Mansion Pool is located next to the Washoe County Historic Bowers Mansion. No refunds due to inclement weather. Swimsuits mandatory.

Located next to the historic Bowers Mansion at Bowers Mansion Regional Park, Washoe County's "Z" shaped, 44 meter, outdoor pool is heated by a natural hot spring and is kept between 78 and 83 degrees. Amenities include: easy entry ladders, 1 meter spring board, and a hydraulic lift. Please note: All children ages 6 and under MUST be accompanied by a participating adult. Children 14 and under need

to have a parent or guardian on the pool deck. No diapers allowed. Swim diapers are available for purchase and must be worn with a bathing suit. Food and drink (with the exception of water) are not allowed on the pool deck. However, you are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy the many first-come/first-served picnic tables throughout the park. There are no concessions available. If you're looking to cool off, both of our splash parks will be open this weekend from 10am-5:30pm.

Bowers Mansion Pool - Important Safety Notice

Bowers Mansion Pool is temporarily closed, effective immediately, due to a maintenance issue within the facility.

To ensure the well-being of all patrons, staff must conduct a thorough inspection of the pool.

Expected Reopening: We are working diligently to resolve this and will post updates here as soon as a reopening time is confirmed.

🏊‍♀️Another Learn to Swim session is starting July 28 at Bowers Mansion Pool! This program is designed for children ages 6 and up who are ready to build confidence, improve their swimming skills, and have fun in the water.

📅 July 28 – August 6
🗓️ Lessons are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays over two weeks
🕙 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (45-minute lessons)
💲 $60 for the entire session

We are offering one Learn to Swim (6+ years) session beginning Tuesday, July 7 at Bowers Mansion Pool. This session will be held for two weeks each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Each session is 45 minutes from 5:45pm-6:15pm. Cost is $60 for the entire series. Register online at this link:

The kids are out of school, and it finally feels like the official start of summer! ☀️

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, we'll be open DAILY from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through August 9. After August 9, we'll transition to weekends only through Labor Day.

As always, please keep in mind that weather, smoke, or other unforeseen conditions may occasionally require us to close temporarily. On rare occasions, we may also need to limit capacity.

Bowers Pool will open for the summer just in time for the holiday weekend - beginning this Saturday, May 23!

Hours are 11:30am-5:30pm and admission is $6 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors.

The pool will be open weekends only until school is out, then we’ll switch to daily operations beginning Wednesday, June 10.

We can’t wait to see everyone back poolside this summer!😎☀️
