Mariah has had a career high of 18 points, 12 blocks, and 8 assists this season!

An outstanding player on and off the court, captain, and our proudest stat is that Mariah is a 4.0 student!

Monae Aaron shared her “Player of the Game” necklace with Destiny on day 1 post op! 🤩

We love you Destiny and we’re all praying for you a speedy and safe recovery!!

The Lady Canes got some community service in this week.

Thursday we visited Palmetto Elementary to help greet everyone and serve the Thanksgiving lunches to the families. 🍁🦃
The event was catered by Love For Food and they even fed the team after with some amazing food! 😍

Friday we visited the TriCommunity nursing home and played blackout and bingo with the residents.
We brought some cookies with us to serve along with their juice and coffee time. 🍪🧃☕️
They even said they want us to come back and play with them again 🥹🫶🏽

Big thanks to Mrs. Roberts at Palmetto Elmentary, Mrs. Jamelia and Mr. Mike with Love For Food and Mrs. Angela and Ms. Celena with TriCommunity for allowing us the opportunity to get involved with our community.

Teaching the team that if we want community support we have to support our community in return. Supporting the ones before us and the ones that are coming up behind us. They’re all watching and we just hope to make a difference in our time here. ✊🏽
