We had a board meeting and talked about your bowlers joining and finish out the year at Colonial. We are wondering if your Association would pay their Local Association fee? As far as the youth they can join now if they want, they will find teams for them. As far as next year they started on 9/15/18 this year and start about the same every year at this time. We usually have sign up couple weeks before we start. They bowl 22 weeks, start time is 9:30 am on Saturdays. I’m Mike Mellecker Association Manager for Iowa City USBC. I understand you lost your bowling center, which is a sad affairs for bowling. The reason I’m reaching out is your bowlers are welcome to join our association and we may have some opening on leagues if team would like to join. On Tuesday & Thursday Nights we have 8 lanes open for a league . We have openings for teams on Friday & Sunday nights, both mixed leagues. We have a meeting this Saturday which I’ll bring this up to the board.



I’m open any time to meet with either one or both of you, just let me know.

Lebowskis Rock & Bowl is hosting a membership meeting for all bowlers on Sunday August 26th at 4 PM. This meeting will be very short and then there will be a Fun Tournament free of charge and open to everyone directly after the meeting. We would like to see as many bowlers as possible, and new bowlers are encouraged to attend. Please spread the word to everyone.

Attention all youth and parents! Lebowskis Rock & Bowl is hosting a free youth bowling afternoon on Saturday September 8th. Kindergarten through 6th grade from 12:00 to 2:30 PM and 7th to 12th grade from 3:00 to 5:30 PM. There will be free bowling and snacks. New bowlers are encouraged to attend.
